Introduced just in 1992, this great footwear company has grown from a line of utility-styled work boots, into a full line of footwear, including sandals, sneakers, casual and dress shoes.
Headquartered in Manhattan Beach, California, Skechers Shoes Company was founded by ex-hairdresser and LA Gear shoe company founder Robert Greenberg. An ousted employee of the LA Gear board, Greenberg started Skechers in 1992 with his son by his side. Initially it was simply a distributor for Doc Marten. In 1995 they launched their own footwear lines. It was almost a jump starting as they got promoters among great celebrities who were already enjoying huge popularity.
Doc Marten-style sandals and sports shoes designed for using with skateboards is considered among the most famous products of Skechers shoes. Immediately after moving into mainstream casual footwear, the brand became a hot favourite among teens, trendsetters and urbanites. Shoes of this highly sought after company are now as diverse as their customers. They have the look and design that can appeal to the lovers of fashionable footwear round the globe.
For female users Skechers shoes have dressy sandals, trendy sneakers, funky thongs, and cool boots etc. Faux suede boots for ladies feature faux fur accent and decorative side lacing. These hip and trendy boots come in two mind-blowing colours: brown and black. Thong sandals can be fabulous, but only if it is from Skechers! The thongs from this big brand have tightly woven leather upper that encases large gemstone ornaments. They come in three different colours with unique vibes.
